DIY Living (ring) Dish

I saw these amazing ring dishes at Anthropologie that I had to have….until I looked at the price tag. I love bringing the outdoors inside and what better way then an accent piece on your jewelry table.  These living ring dishes are all the rage right now, and here’s how you can make your own, for less then $10!

What you’ll need:

-one bottle of multi-surface paint (you pick the colour!)
-a hot glue gun
-small paint brush
-small animal toy
-ceramic dish/plate/serving platter/bowl (you choose!)

First, find a clean spot to paint. I used a paper plate to keep the paint off my countertops, works so well!

Secondly, paint your animals. I had to do a few coats to really make the white a consistent colour to cover the animals colour.  This step, painting, may take a few hours to complete and re-coat before the animal is dry.

Next, apply hot glue to the base of the animal (the part of the animal which will be set to the dish.)

You’re all done! Happy crafting my friends! xoxoxo
